Come learn the art of belly dance, Egyptian Sun style!
If your goal is fitness, fun, performance, or simply to try something new, join us! We are a unique assortment of dancers ages 12-60+ of all shapes, sizes, colors, and walks of life. You do NOT have to be a JHU student nor a JHU affiliate to take class; we welcome everyone.
For Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 – As Dori adjusts to motherhood, she will only be teaching mixed-level choreography classes. If you have some previous experience in bellydance and are interested in learning some Egyptian Sun choreographies, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are looking for a technique class, we would be happy to suggest some other local teachers during this transition period.
What to Bring: Payment (unless you have pre-registered), water, a snack (if you’d like), a hip scarf (any normal scarf to tie around your hips is fine), a towel/yoga mat for the conditioning portion of the class (optional), a good attitude, and a smile! Be prepared to sweat!
